THE FLORIDA CRAFTSMAN GALLERY The "go with absolutely everything"
"Dangle Necklace" is featured here
at The Florida Craftsman Gallery. A neutral yet slightly bluish iridescent nugget Keshi pearl
necklace/bracelet/ and if you are are SUPER
SKINNY~ belt! is part of the exclusive pieces available here....Plus there are two tiny very special little
"Precious Lidded Pots" (copyright 2008, all rights reserved), both Soda fired, but very much opposite outcome. Interestingly enough, the same glaze, the same kiln. Very different results. All of my "PLP's" are unique and will never be made again- practically impossible to replicate.
All of my "Precious Lidded Pots" are adorned with precious gems and exotic pearls.
You may notice my new
"Sexy Tree Ladies" (copyright 2009, all rights reserved), presenting the jewelry. One of them is The
"Salted Sexy Tree Lady" (Salt reduction firing), and another has been fired in an
Anagama Kiln, an Ancient Japanese traditional wood firing- for 7 days-continuously. The firing was headed by the "honorable" Don Rietz, and John Ballesteri a reknown professor in Bowling Green Ohio. This "Naked Anagama Sexy Tree Lady" has no glaze. It has a wonderful texture on the outside. It is as if the "skin" is mummified and it had been discovered from many years ago.
(The Sexy Tree Ladies, copyright 2009, all rights reserved, are intended for display purposes only and are not for sale). Take the opportunity to see artists from all over our area. I would love you for you to see my work! Several of the pieces are actually seen below...
Please Email me with any questions. Elizabeth or Maggie can contact me for you anytime.
The techniques mentioned above and glazes I used were done at
The St. Pete Clay Company. Come and visit us~ see what we are up to. Get your hands on clay, take a class. Get a membership. This place is a very unique establishment, and we have it here in St. Pete!
