I am an SEO Manager/Marketing Consultant - one of my clients, www.smoketip.com has turned to me to do a testimonial type video for the splash page of the ecommerce site. I am also a professional photographer (was really) see www.artedepalmphoto.com and of course without hesitation I said "yes" to him. Now I am like, why did I do that? I have a friend who is going to do the "acting" but I could use some help with the video editing. I have a Mac Pro G5 with 30 Inch HD Monitor + I use two small Apple Monitors side by side. BUT I only have iDVD - no Final Cut Pro or anything. Let me know what hardware/software you have available.
Cut to the chase: Would you be interested in helping me with this project?
First answer to your first question: Maybe, he said he would pay me for creating the video, so I would certainly share any or all of that with you depending on how much you are able to help out.
2) He wants it ASAP - basically the only thing left before the site goes live.
3) I am a normal person, married with a 15 month old - thee is nothing weird going on - I just honestly need help with video editing - if you're not interested I will ask someone else - but let me know either way please.
