Sustainability, Fanaticism, and Fashion at USF!
New designs based on student opinions

TAMPA, FL – "Sustainability, Fanaticism, and Fashion at USF!," an upcoming fashion show, will take place November 14, 2009 at 8:00pm at the University of South Florida Marshall Student Center, room 2100A. There is no cost to attend this event. Free refreshments will be provided, and catalogs of apparel will be dispensed. This event is funded in part by a USF Graduate Student Challenge Grant.

The purpose of this event is to display a new line of apparel, which has been designed to fit the opinions expressed by USF students who took a recent survey measuring attitudes on fanaticism in relation to sustainability.

Hi - Lee Taylor here. I'm a bass-ackward photographer. Graduated in 1978 from Kent State (no but my wife was there on May 4th - her last day of college, I might add) with a degree in Telecommunications R-TV & minor in Graphic Design. My scholastic achievements rival that of President Geo Bush (maybe not quite that good ;-) even tho I'm more intelligent.

I'm a former TV Producer with PM Magazine for seven years in Orlando at the CBS affiliate WDBO-WCPX.
After the show cancelled locally (thanks to the Brilliant leadership of the station management - no names please...)
I started a small AD agency - Commotion Promotion - managed to spend all my profit of 5 years & my life savings for naught... can't compete with the TV stations 'cause they'll do a (bad) como for free.
I then worked for a couple of friends (& two of the best shooters in FLA - Brad & Mike Fuller) at their production company(s) Florida Film & Tape & Mike Fuller Marine Photography where I started moving from moving pictures to stills.
Think of my career as the 'de-evolution of Malcolm Muybridge' starting with a perfectly good motion sequence reduced to a final single frozen moment in time (which I have never managed successfully - I might add)...
Alas, Henri Cartier Bresson I (never) knew him well (or at all for that matter)! note: GOOZLE 'decisive moment' FYI

So now I strive to create imagery ( I with some hubris refer to myself as an IMAGIST ) that is compelling - evocative - sometimes erotic/exotic & last but not least memorable - I can't think of any I've done off hand...
The THREE areas of concern for me now are Motorcycles - Maidens & Marketing & any combination of those three.
I've got several projects in the works & none completed (It took me five years to graduate from college & that included bribes & restraining orders) but I'm confident that I'll make something eventually that Andy Warhol would be proud of...

I'm always open to creative collaboration - especially if you're the creative one ;-) - one of us has to be & I'll always shoot something for free. No problems - no questions - I'll do it. period. end of story. literally. it's the end of the story.
