That's great, Jon. I look forward to hearing more about your project. I'm not sure I can be of any help since all of my work is commercial and education. I know some local shooters when production time comes closer. All the best!

It starts with a lo whisper... and...
Hello ALL! My next upcoming project will be helmed by myself... finally I decided to do it! I will be putting out ads for the next few months as we gain more momentum for it. It will be a feature film and more info will come forthwith as it is decided. Get any reels or resumes ready for the inevitable last minute call for feature film help needed. I will be looking for everything... cast, crew, & contractors.

Thank you for listening!

Indie UHF Network Features 300 Titles
Sarasota, Florida: The Indie Network USA is preparing the launch of a new television network that includes UHF stations in all 210 markets nationwide. Targeting two hours of prime time and weekend daytime, The Indie Network plans to exhibit features in every genre and production budget.
Company operations will be centered in Sarasota, Florida with technical support from WDRL-TV in Virginia. The startup phase of The Indie Network USA includes assembling the first group of motion picture features for broadcast. Indie producers and copyright owners are invited to participate at www.IndieNetwork.us with a film makers entry form. The Indie Network plans to include 300 movie titles during its first year of operation.
The indie film concept has been well-received by the UHF station industry as a good fit for alternative programming of movie features audiences may otherwise never be aware of. “A highly attractive way to reach large audiences”, “Innovative new movie venue with a wealth of great material”.
Indie features are ideal for the UHF television industry because they reach every demographic profile for men and women without targeting any specific demo consistently. Viewers can select by promo, title and synopsis. The truly wonderful perspective of indie feature programming is its vast new vista of content that has never been presented. It offers a panorama of new programming and new viewing experiences to an industry that historically has been prone to offer re-runs.

•Still get nervous at auditions…

•Took the course but want a refresher…

This Weekend is for YOU!

Instant Line Learning & Cold Reading Weekend

September 26th & 27th in Sarasota

Memorize 3 to 5 pages in 15 Minutes!!

Overcome The Actor's Number One Fear in ONE WEEKEND!

Memorizing your lines is the single greatest advantage you can have going into an audition, yet most actors don't have a reliable technique for memorizing lines quickly and effectively.

If you have learned that "memorization is difficult" or "you are a slow learner" or "getting the 'jist' of the scene is good enough" or any of the other common beliefs that keep actors from learning their lines, then you are probably not booking the types of roles needed to gain a reputation as a dependable and competent actor.

In ONE WEEKEND, you can learn how to memorize 3 to 5 pages VERBATIM in less than 15 minutes. This technique has been taught at KVG Acting for 20 years and many of the 'bookers' in Central Florida use it religiously. Based on the Weatherford Technique, created by New York soap opera contract player, Russ Weatherford, 'The Instant Line Learning Technique' was developed from several undisputable facts:

•An actor who is thinking about his lines CANNOT be thinking and feeling what the CHARACTER is thinking and feeling.

•Actors who have their lines memorized consistently do better in auditions.

•'Improvising' lines on a set makes matching and editing a nightmare.

•Your acting profession will be much more enjoyable and successful when you know how to memorize quickly and effectively

What's the 'secret' to memorization? Simple: MAKE IT A GAME!

•Do you dread having t0 memorize lines?

•What if you NEVER had to memorize lines again?

•What if you could 'play games' instead of memorizing?

•What if learning lines actually became FUN?

•What if the process of learning lines helped in making strong character choices?

•What if you actually LOOKED FORWARD to LEARNING THE LINES as much as you do PERFORMING them?

In One Weekend you will learn several LINE LEARNING GAMES that will enable you to memorize 3 to 5 pages VERBATIM within 15 minutes, AND EVEN FASTER WITH PRACTICE!!

Click here to see what our students say about us.
