Production Animation and Design Intern

We are looking for an intern with interest/experience in animation and graphic design who can work closely with the marketing production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in 2D and 3D design and animation and will use their design, animation, compositing and editing skills as well as their enthusiasm and creativity to contribute to the production values of broadcast quality television commercials that promote Bright House Networks products brands.

The intern will:

1. Work with the marketing production team to develop innovative animated graphics for TV commercials that will air on broadcast and cable television channels in Bright House Networks markets around the country and produce, and as appropriate, work on projects from beginning to end.
2. Help develop, design and present creative concepts to the production and marketing management teams.
3. Assist in the development of detailed storyboards, design concepts and elements, animations and composites.
4. Collaborate and coordinate with production and marketing team members to enhance the over all design, graphics and animation look and feel of our production efforts.
5. Help develop, enhance and implement our brand presence in all production activities.
6. Work closely with the production team to meet production goals and follow production schedules, meeting all milestones and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Applicant will be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in design/graphics or animation
• Video and motion graphics design and computer animation production experience in school or workplace
• Knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and some 3D animation (Maya, Lightwave Cinema 4D or similar)
• Modeling and interface design experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines with an upbeat attitude.
• Organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
